About RRACSSU

History | Training Support and Advice The Regional and Remote Children and Services Support Unit (RRACSSU), Central is a program that provides support and training to Aboriginal employees in Child Care centres, JET creches, Playgroups, Multifunctional Aboriginal Children's Services and Out of School Hours Care in Alice Springs and the remote communities of Central Australia and the Barkly. We deliver regional workshops as well as a range of support and training events in relation to children's services delivery. RRACSSU publishes a regular newsletter, develops and distributes training resources in the region and participates in local childrens services interagency events.

At present we have the following positions: Coordinator, 2 full-time Field Officers and 1 part-time Administration Officer.

RRACCSU is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
